German Luftschutz M40 Helmet NS62, Rare Maker, New Condition.

Typical size used by the Hitler Jugend when helping on the AntiAircraft Flak Batteries. At the end of the war was a common practice to use helpers from the Hitler Jugend with the AA Batteries. Helmet is in new condition, never used and from NS, (Vereinigte Deutsche Nickelwerke in Schwerte), maker, when most are Q, (Quist). Serial number 1547 marked at the back edge. The typical Ersatz leather used on these helmets from mid war to the end is perfect, no holes, nothing. Chinstrap is soft and complete and it is a nice variation with the typical buckle used at the end of the war. Overall a hard to upgrade example.
