German Luftschutz M40 Helmet Q62 AA Batterie Helper.

This nice Luftschutz helmet was used by a young kid of the Hitler Jugend helping at the AA batteries as it is indicated by the 21 painted on the side and the dark blue paint used on the helmet for night use. It has seen action, the leather has some repairs and the outisde is not mint. You can find the name of the owner handwritten at the rear edge inside the helmet. At the end of the war was a common practice to use helpers from the Hitler Jugend with the AA batteries. Very rare Luftschutz helmet.
