German SS Eagle Zinc Made Late War 1943-44 For Schirmmütze Visor Cap Mint. (10)

Never used SS Eagle Zinc made and unmarked with the RZM logo which was removed from the manufacturing process sometime around 1942. This eagle is part of the Berlin Hoard found in the 80's from the unissued huge stock, (x thousands), of badges and spare parts for visor caps and tropical helmets. The badges were still lying forgotten after the 8th of May 1945 in the big manufacturer warehouse from Carl Halfar and were still wrapped in the original delivery paper into cardboard boxes being from middle to late war zinc quality for most of them. This history is pretty well known in the Center Europe, but the problem is that they are in the market since 30 years and in mint condition, this looks like it is a "problem" for some collectors and I read somewhere that they are "new made fakes".... NO, ask to a real and very experienced collector about the "Berlin Hoard" and you will get the truth.
