Normally I don´t take/offer items in this condition, but I know the history of this particular grenade and it is a wonderful history. Just discovered inside a wall of an old house in France, (I will tell the exact place to the buyer, it is a very famous place in the World War Two history). It is offered in "as found" condition as 99% of items I always offer. The fuze is marked MKI, Gammons used both MKI fuzes with standard safety strap and later the modified MKII with a shorter strap. As you can see everything is original and correct as it must be for an untouched item that has never been into a collection. It has a couple of small holes in the cloth bag, missing the safety pin, (more than 70 years inside a wall, think in that...), otherwise complete, even with the small spring. If you don´t want to spend 1K euro, (or more), for a MINT Gammon and you love the history, this one is for you.
