German Luftwaffe M40 Single Decal Q64 Helmet Dark Blue Paint, Rare.

This is a real used Luftwaffe helmet, I mean, not like those in MINT condition without chinstrap, they are also original items, of course, but never into battle. This is a nice Q64, (F. W. Quist), size with serial number DN97. Helmet is in untouched condition with the three split pins dated IKA 41. The liner band is maker marked by BRAUNSCHWEIG, but no year is visible. Chinstrap is marked E... 41, hard to read, but there. But the really special on this helmet is the double decal and the dark blue paint, inside and outside. The paint is not textured paint, but smooth. There are two eagles, one under the dark blue paint and a new one applied over the paint. The colour is more similar to an early M35 helmet, but darker. And it is the original factory colour, not field repainted. Maybe a special order for something? The 1941 dated split pins in same colour than the helmet make an usage from early M35 paint quite impossible.... What do you think? A rare variation I think. The paper and the cord were inside the helmet when I got it, so... They are still in place.
