German Wehrmacht M39 Eihandgranate Egg Grenade Box Wonderful Complete Rack And Labels.

Hard to find box complete with the inner racks. The earlier wood boxes had a pull out rack like the M24 Stickgrenades or like the metal cases, but later the wood boxes had a non removable rack fixed to the box. So, after the war these racks, half on the lid and half on the box were removed and thrown away for use the box for storage. Also this box has a rare rack inside made of a very thin wood when all I have seen were made of a thicker wood. The box has been helped to keep together with some white glue and a couple of nails as it has the standard problem you usually find on boxes with more than 70 years old.
The M39 egg is NOT part of the sale, just for reference.
Now about shipping: To ship this big and heavy box cost money, but as I always travel through Europe, (to UK too), few times per year I could bring it to you for free. Also, if you work with a Courier you can use it for pick up the box and send it to you, no problem.
