Sometimes this ring is missing from the mask. It is for keep the detachable lenses in place, when you need to change the used lens, you remove the ring and you can then chane the old lens by a new one, putting back the ring after that. This ring is to be used with the mid-late war green or black rubber made model, not with the "cloth" Feldgrau masks.

German Luftwaffe ELAZ Electrische Aufschlag Zünder Electrical Impact Fuze Series Large Bakelite Pot 2L verl. Super Hard To Find egy 1944.

The long fuzes are hard to find, but their transport pots..... You can find 200 short ones for every long one. This one is not perfect, so I priced it lower. But has no cracks or any damage to the bakelite, just it is missing some resin around, so surely a mistake from the factory.
