Well, 20 years ago was also very hard to find one in nice condition, so guess in 2023. This super nice example is matching head and stick maker J. H. B. and date looks like 16. 5. 17. This model may be considered as the father of the M24 stickgrenade used at WWII. It has the carrying loop broken, but I´m quite sure this was done in combat due how they were carried by the soldiers, (attached to the belt). Patina is really old. As a curious point, (for collectors), this stick comes with a one piece end cap instead of the normal two pieces end caps you can find always. Again the patina makes me think it is an original set. The carboard disc is still in its original place. Fuze is missing, but still has the ceramic ball with nearly all the pull cord. So, a difficult to upgrade example because they are nearly impossible to find these days in this condition.
