Believe me when I tell you that at first shot I thought the paint was original, but IT IS NOT. It has been nicely repainted and aged, why I offer a repainted item when my policy is not to do this? Try to find an original one around.... Yes, not easy. And this one is painted with the right red colour and not in yellow, for example. I have seen people asking 600 Euro for a nice one with 85% red paint, but NO fuze, NO Übungs charge and NO cord, just the red head with the red connector handle with end cap, the problem is that I have seen people paying that price. German stuff is getting crazy prices these days due to the lack of material and new collectors starting to collect all the time. But that´s life I guess.
I offer it 100% complete with all parts, Übungs charge that is a nice example from lake find, a nice BZ39, hemp pull cord as must be within an early model and a "winged" end cap with cardboard disc. About the "winged" end cap, NO, it is NOT a WWI or a "Winter Cap", the socalled "Winter Caps" never existed, they were a step in the evolution from the two pieces WWI end caps to the 1936-1945 ones. They were made between wars until the half of the 30s, these were made already in one single piece with the same depth for put inside a cardboard disc like the WWI ones, but then the springled cardboard disc was introduced around 1930 so they needed to make the end cap deeper and finally in 1936 they removed the wings and made the normal round end cap you know. This is the history. Hard to find these between wars end caps.
So, a nice chance to get a rare set without having to spend the half of your monthly payment. Depending of the country you are living it will be shipped in two separated parcels.
