German Wehrmacht Combat Gas Mask Set Belonging To Reil St. fw, 100% Complete And Super Matching 1938/39.

I got a small collection of Gas Masks from an Ex Spanish Army High Rank Officer retired long time ago, he explained me that in the 70s the Army bases were full with tons, (literally), of German stuff arrived with the Legion Condor to the Spanish Civil War and from the 1943 BAR Program, this is the trading of Wolfram metal, (used for the hardcore high speed rounds), against German Equipment, Weapons, Tanks, etc. It is a well known history in Spain, then in the 80s to 90s most of the stuff was destroyed, sunken in the sea or sold to scrap yards. This man liked the Gas Masks, so he could save some of them. Most are untouched and missing only a lid or a cleaning cloth or retaining spring. But there are some rare and nice sets. In this set, for example, I had to replace the cleaning cloth and filter lid only. Condition of all parts is crazy, museum condition. Curious that instead of the WaA eagle normally stamped on the left fold inside the mask, it is stamped W, same than in the filter. Very hard to find and to upgrade set.
