They started to make the VM, (Volksgasmaske), gas filters in aluminium, then changed to zink because all the aluminium was needed for make planes. Mask is complete with all the straps. Filter has a small dent, (see photo 13), is full made in zink and matching with the 1945 dated mask, yes 45, the "I" at the 5 right side is not a number, just this "I", a stick. Not easy to find the last model of Volks Gas Maske.
