Absolutely top quality on this early item, many brass parts, the only falw I can find on the binoculars is one bakelite eye cup broken, all joints, optics and movable parts work perfectly. Under the new paint you can see the original fieldgrey used. It comes with its matching Cavalry case with some post war repairs, but this is full German, not SA for Finnish Army. Very hard to find set even with the repairs and repaint. It is a super heavy item, the heaviest item I have had in my life, (I don´t collect tanks, so...). Look at all the photos. This set surfaced in Spain, looking the year on the case, it came here with The Legion Condor and stayed in the Spanish Army after the Spanish Civil War until was sold to anybody in the 80s when Spanish Army sold tons and tons of nice German material, (I was only 10 years old back then :(
