Very nice barn find M24, it is a matching one, just look the inside of the can and the top of the connector stick, have been together since many years. Remember that Soldiers must dismount all the grenades and insert the fuzes and detonators, imagine 10 guys with 50 cans and 50 sticks around looking for the "matching" parts.... Don´t think so. Also, it is already well known that some makers only made cans and others made only handles, having this in mind.... to find a matching M24 from some makers is impossible. And from the mid war to the end the quality on the production was not the typical German quality of the starting.
This example comes complete to the 100% as usual with me, inert fuze and empty detonator, nice hemp pull cord with small steel ball and end cap with cardboard disc inside. The thread on the top connector for screw the fuze in, is missing, but the fuze seats perfectly, see photo. Knowing the prices of M24 ground examples with just the can and the handle going for these days, I strongly believe my asking price is more than fair. It will be sent in two separated parcels if necessary, depend to what country has to be sent.
