German Wehrmacht Heer M40 Helmet Single Decal ET64, "I Was There" One, Untouched.

Super nice helmet from the ET factory, (Eisenhuttenwerke Thale), this is one of the most recognizable and famous items form the German Troops at WWII, hence, every collector wants one, (minimum), but helmets are limited and after more than 60 years of collecting they turned really hard to find and expensive. This helmet has a wonderful Veteran look, but still with almost all the decal in place, it is untouched and has a scratched name of the previus owner. Lot number is something like ...430, but hard to read. Liner has the maker mark hidden by dust and corrosion of the zink, other side is marked 64 nA 56. Chinstrap is maker marked and dated Henseler & Cº ULM 1940. All the aluminium leather pins are present, leather liner is size stamped 56. Wonderful helmet, believe me, photos make no justice.
