Harder and harder to find a nice set and 100% complete. Combat Gas Masks sets have raised up their prices in the last two years at the same time they got scarcer and scarcer. They always have missing something or they are in bad condition. I only offer 100% complete sets in excellent to near mint condition, sometimes found like this, sometimes completed by me with spare parts which I have many collected through all my years of collecting.
The can of this set has only the surface rust you see outside in that located place from hanging on the back. Mask and filter are near mint having the mask ones of the coolest and best WaA stamps I have seen in my life. The can is the hard to find very late war variation with simplified closing knob. You can find here some fails typical of the late war construction, when quality was replaced by the haste. Interesting to note that the steel clamp that holds the nose is unpainted, when you see a late war mask with some steel parts unpainted, you can be sure it is a very, very late war, (even 1945), produced part, when Germans had no paint. All parts are from 1943 and 1944, wonderfull set for an advanced collector.... Or beginner. Both are welcome :)
Ah, blue painted for indicate magnetic construction, so not to be used with Radio Equipment or other magnetic sensitive Equipment. NOT blue painted because Luftwaffe.... Please.
