German Wehrmacht Klappspaten Mit Spatentasche Entrenching Tool Folding Shovel With Carrying Case cqr 1942.

Millions of them were made, why original ones in nice condition are so hard to find? Because many were destroyed in battle, others left behind, others reused after war, and others sold to other countries. The entrenching tool/shovel was a basic item issued to all EM/NCO’s and was issued with a specific carrying case for attach it to the belt. The 2nd model carrying case is made of Ersatz leather, the carrying case is nicely maker marked and dated. The entrenching tool is also nicely maker marked. Wonderful set in untouched and original condition. The only flaw is under the markings on the carrying case, (Photo 6), but the stitchings are intact. Otherwise a super set, what the hell...., even with that is a super set!!!!
