These fuzes never were easy to find already in the past, but today in 2024.... BZE40 fuze, the evolution of the BZE39 friction fuze, on the BZE39 you pulled the cord and a wire "frictioned" a copper capsule inside the body and started the delay tube. On the BZE40 there is a springled striker that when you pull out the cord gets liberated and hits the delay tube. This is the fuze that you normally find on late Egg grenades and M43 stickgrenades. This doesn´t mean that the BZE39 was not used on late Eggs and M43 sticks. Hard to find spare fuze. Ah, I nearly forget, the delay tube is EMPTY, so no problem with shipping. The condition of the thread is ok, not minty, but ok, it will still screw on the Egg or M43 pot, of course I checked it.
