They were made by millions, but think that a big part were destroyed fighting, if the soldier falls in the battlefield, his items fall with him. I have seen during years how they get more and more difficult to find, as with many other items you could easily find 10 years ago. This one is made in a nice brown bakelite and opens in 1/4 turn like it must be. Not easy to find brown bakelite, this one is mixed with cloth fibers, you can see the white fibers on close up photos. The line on the top is from factory, not a crack or damage. Shipping will be inside a carboard box for elude damage in travel.
