Steel bare metal hardware, (Big knob is aluminium made). Nice, very nice strap and markings. Original ones like this are getting hard to find, most offered around are reused or early post war made. It will NOT fit on the Mess Kit, (yes, of course I checked it). For Zeltbahn is ok. Hard to find in this condition.
