German Wehrmacht Pioniere 1943 Säge Combat Engineer Saw Near Mint Condition With Presstoff Ersatz Leather clg 43 Sheath, Wonderful Matching Set.

This is a Top Shelf, (Or Cabinet), item. To find one of these saws in this condition is not easy at all, as often the blade is severely rusted. It is nicely marked MARKE STEIGO H 1943 wich stands for Steinbach & Goller KG, Remscheid-Hasten, being the "H" for Heer. The saw is in top condition with complete wood grips, (Often missing a part), and with brass screws. The sheath, (Or scabbard), is made of Prestoff Ersatz Leather and it is in brilliant condition and clearly marked clg 43, (Ernst Melzig Lederwaren, Liegnitz), a famous maker of MP40 pouches, for example, WaA B66. Both loops are made of leather. On top of the belt loop at the back it has a small hole, maybe used for hang the saw on the wall? Anyways it is at the back and you can use it for hang the set on YOUR wall. Overall a hard to upgrade set.
