This liner has seen Action!!! There are 4 names and looks like the big stain which looks like boold it was the last owner. Why Luftwaffe? Because the small blue paint drops on the leather and in the aluminium, look photos. Early M31 liner reinforced in 1940, when this was done the two square aluminium buckles for the chinstraps used on the early liners were also replaced for the round corners model used until the end of the war, but on this liner, one of the original early square buckles was left, why?
